NEW DEAL: Jermaine Anderson has signed a new deal until the end of the season!

After an initial short-term deal, Aldershot Town are delighted to announce that midfielder Jermaine Anderson has signed a new deal until the end of the 2020/21 season!

The 24-year-old has made seven appearances so far for the club, including scoring a brace in his first derby game against Woking back on Boxing Day and he will be looking to continue his good run of form for the Shots starting with the away trip to Wealdstone in the Vanarama National League this Saturday.

Manager Danny Searle also spoke about retaining the midfielder for the rest of this season in yesterday’s post-match interview:

“We’ve secured Jermaine for the rest of the season so that’s good news for us and it adds a little bit more competition for us and a little bit of spice in the dressing room that we’ve obviously completed the deal.

“There’s a few happy faces and a few thinking another one! But it’s all in good spirit and we go to Wealdstone in good form.

“He’s quality. He’s a really good player. He brings a calming influence to the team at times, but he also brings an intensity and when you’ve got a player like him whose played as many league games as he has and the business we’ve done and credit to everyone involved because he’s a proper player.”

We look forward to seeing Jermaine in a Shots shirt for a little while longer!
