Aldershot Town are delighted to announce that defender Ben Shroll has extended his stay with the club on a new 18-month deal!
Shroll graduated from our academy at the start of last season, impressing in his first year as a first-team player, earning man-of-the-match in our 3-0 home victory against Wrexham A.F.C.
Since then, Shroll has headed out on loan with Vanarama National League South side Hampton & Richmond Borough where he had continued to impress with maturity way over his years before an unfortunate injury kept him out of action for a period of time earlier this year.
However, back fit again and Shroll has continued to fight for a place at the heart of our Aldershot Town defence, making three appearances in the Vanarama National League and also started our Buildbase FA Trophy home victory against Kingstonian FC.
Shroll has now joined Havant & Waterlooville in the Vanarama National League South on an initial month’s loan to help them in a pivotal point of the season.
