Aldershot Town are delighted to announce that defender Alfie Saunders has extended his stay with the club on a deal until the end of the 2024 season!
Saunders graduated from our academy at the start of the season, impressing during his time whilst there and has gone on to become an important player for Mark Molesley’s first-team.
The 20 year-old broke into the first-team in November following a short loan spell with Farnborough FC, that had seen the young defender retain an unbeaten record for Boro.
Saunders continued this impressive unbeaten form with Aldershot Town during our unbeaten period that saw him go six games undefeated in the Vanarama National League.
The young full-back returned to the starting line-up in our away visit to Wrexham and will be hoping to continue developing as a player and rack up more appearances for the Shots for the remainder of this season and next.
Both Alfie and the remainder of the first-team will be hoping we can return to winning ways, as we take on Stockport County in front of the BT Sport cameras with a 5:20pm kick-off. Tickets available HERE.
Great to keep you on board Alfie!
