Aldershot Town today welcome a new Director into the Boardroom as The Shots host Chester in their first National League home fixture of 2016.
Elannah Osgood, the daughter of the first ever Aldershot Town captain, Dave Osgood, has been selected for another Shots first – Chairwoman for the Day.
Elannah, who celebrates her 12th birthday on Sunday, will take on all aspects of the matchday role and be shadowed by Shahid Azeem in overseeing the smooth running of the Club. Elannah will meet Barry Smith and his players to deliver her own team-talk, take a tour of the stadium to welcome all Club staff, and host the visiting Chester directors in the Boardroom, with whom she will enjoy a three-course lunch.
After the final whistle, she will participate in the presentation of the Man of the Match award.
