MATCHDAY PREPARATIONS: FC Halifax Town

Ahead of tonight’s game against FC Halifax Town, we would like to share the following details to help fans with their arrival and exit from the game:

The front shop will be open at all day until kick-off tonight however we must stress that the Ticket Office will be closed meaning NO tickets will be available to collect ahead of the match, but office staff will be available for any other queries.

Turnstiles will open for fans to enter the stadium at 6:45pm and we recommend that fans get here for this time to help with safe entry to the EBB Stadium.

Supporters will also be able to enter through any of the 8 turnstiles available upon entry to the ground as well.

When leaving the ground, fans will be guided out of the EBB Stadium safely and sensibly but you will be able to exit from the traditional exit of Redan Hill to ensure everyone is kept safe.

The club have looked at the exit route from the East Bank at the ground and due to safety reasons when leaving the stadium at the end of the game, the club will NOT open the East Bank gates at the rear of the stadium into the car park.

This is due to the club not deeming safe enough for fans to leave at the end of the game, with the pathway still covered in damp leaves and  also not being what we deem well-lit enough for a safe exit for you all.

We will direct supporters who watch the game in the East Bank to exit the stadium via the High Street  end of the stadium instead and we appreciate your co-operation with this as we want to ensure everyone enjoys the game and exits safely and sensibly.

Finally, we would like to offer a final reminder about the clarification of current regulations we have when fans are at the EBB Stadium on matchday:

Clarification of current regulations

We would also remind fans attending the game to read our Code of Conduct supported by the National League HERE, along with also reading the clarifications of current regulations below:

Masks
The club would like to re confirm (as included in our ticketing terms & conditions) that ALL supporters must wear masks for the duration of their time within all areas of the stadium whether in seated areas or terraces.

We have been contacted by a small number of supporters who have expressed concern that medical reasons exclude them from being able to wear a close fitting mask. In line with National League guidance we are able to offer those supporters the option of wearing a full face visor.

However it must be clear that there is NO option available under any circumstance of entering or remaining in the ground if neither a mask or a visor is worn.

Smoking

In line with current regulations the club wishes to confirm that due to the increased risk of viral transmission, Smoking or Vaping is not permitted anywhere within the stadium including the 3 areas away from the stands areas that are normally reserved as “Smoking Areas”, these areas are suspended until further notice.

Please respect the health of others and help secure the future of spectators returning to sport by respecting these regulations.
