Ultimately it was a thoroughly deserved win but Aldershot Town again had to ensure a frustrating evening as chances came and went amidst a performance full of pace and endeavour, played out before a vibrant home crowd.
Mensah squeezed a shot inside the near-post on 88 minutes, after exchanging passes with Matt McClure on the edge of the box and the home fans erupted in joy and relief.
