After the half-hour mark, Aldershot Town started to dominate possession and Toms went closest until this point, firing a shot narrowly over the bar.

Towards the end of the half, Davey won a corner for Aldershot Town but the resulting header by Lewis-Evans was put over the bar and they went into the break level at 0-0.

At half-time, both teams made changes as Evans replaced Lewis-Evans for Aldershot Town and Brennan replaced McArthur for Tonbridge Angels.

Aldershot Town started the second half strong, which saw an early booking for Tonbridge’s Woodhouse.

Minutes after, Evans wins the ball in the middle of the park but fired his shot over the away side’s goal.

The hard work by Aldershot Town eventually resulted in a well-taken goal with Davey creating space just outside the penalty area, before whipping one into the far-left corner on 54 minutes.

Following the goal, the game levelled out as Aldershot Town looked to secure progression into the First Round of the FA Youth Cup.

Tonbridge Angels players Hermitage and London both had shots saved by Aldershot Town’s Harvey Keogh as they looked to get back into the game.

Towards the end of the second half, Keogh was harshly booked for time-wasting as Aldershot Town looked to see the game out with extended added time to play.

With the game looking to be over, Evans broke down the left-hand side on a sharp counter-attack before calmly slotting the ball into the far corner to make it 2-0 to Aldershot Town and all but end the game.

As the ball was kicked off by Tonbridge Angels the ref blew the whistle after over six minutes of added time for the end of the game, with Aldershot Town immediately celebrating as they progressed to the next round of the FA Youth Cup as they await to see who they will take on in the next round.
