MATCH PREVIEW: Shots v Oldham

WHO ARE THE SHOTS PLAYING?

Shots are back at the EBB on Saturday, taking on Oldham, looking to make it five unbeaten in all competitions. Aldershot have picked up seven of the last nine points on the road, beating Solihull Moors and Maidstone and drawing to Bromley, and look to at Oldham to the list of points in an impressive recent run.

HOW HAVE THEY DONE THIS SEASON?

Oldham are currently sat 20th in the National League, having picked up 27 points from 25 games, winning seven games along the way. In the FA Cup, Oldham got themselves into the first round proper after beating Chester on penalties, but lost their first round clash to Wrexham. Oldham are also out the FA Trophy, having lost their fourth round tie to Gateshead.

PREVIOUS MEETING:

It was heartbreak for the Shots last time out against Oldham. Dan Gardner gave the hosts the lead, before Justin Amaluzor put Aldershot level and the sides remained level until the 95th minute, when Hallam Hope scored a late injury time winner for Oldham.

ONE TO WATCH: BEN TOLLITT

Oldham top scorer Ben Tollitt is one to watch for the visitors. The 28-year-old has scored 7 goals in 24 games this season, making him the sides top scorer. Tollitt joined Oldham for Fylde at the start of this season, having score 9 goals and got 3 assists in 38 games for Fylde in the National League North last campaign.
