WHO ARE THE SHOTS PLAYING?
Shots are back in action on the road, taking on Dagenham & Redbridge at the Chigwell Construction Stadium on Tuesday night. The clash is Shots’ first on the road since the 24th of January, when Aldershot ran out 3-0 victors over Maidstone
HOW HAVE THEY DONE THIS SEASON?
Dagenham are sitting in 11th place, having picked up 42 points in 31 games this season. In the FA Cup, Dagenham managed to get into the second round, but were eventually beaten via a replay by Gillingham. In the FA Trophy, Dagenham were knocked out in the fourth round by Maidenhead United after beating Uxbridge 5-1 in the third.
LAST TIME OUT:
Dagenham were 2-0 victors at the EBB the last time the two sides met. Josh Walker got a brace in a fixture which the Shots looked the most comfortable, but Dagenham were the more lethal as they made more of their chances than the Shots.
Aldershot’s last visit to Dagenham ended in a 1-0 defeat, after a first half strike from Angelo Balanta gave the hosts all the points.
ONE TO WATCH: JUNIOR MORIAS
Of Dagenham’s current squad, Junior Morias is the current top scorer. Morias has 9 goals in 28 games so far this season, having scored 11 for the Daggers last season. Morias joined Dagenham from Kings Lynn at the start of the 21/22 season, and is enjoying his best goalscoring form since his time at Northampton Town and Peterborough. Morias mainly plays as a striker, and has stepped up to fill the boots of Josh Walker, who recently departed the club to play for Burton Albion.
