FC Halifax Town are this weekend’s visitors to the EBB Stadium.
The Shaymen currently sit in 11th with 31 points from their opening 21 games, picking up eight wins and seven draws.
Having scored just 21 goals, Halfiax have one of the lowest tallies of goals scored in the division, but having conceded just 19 goals, also have one of the lowest goals against tallies.
Florent Hoti, Jamie Cooke, Billy Waters and Andrew Oluwabori have all scored three goals so far this season and are Halifax’s joint top scorers.

IN THE DUGOUT
Chris Millington is in charge of this weekend’s visitors, having taken control of the Shaymen when Pete Wild left in 2022 after being the now-Barrow Manager’s Assistant at the Shay for three years.
In his time at Halifax, he’s helped guide the Shaymen to their highest finish since reforming in 2008 and to Wembley as FA trophy winners in 2022.
LAST TIME OUT
The Shots have already faced FC Halifax Town this season as Josh Barrett scored the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win at the Shay in the second game of the campaign.
Last season’s game at the EBB Stadium also ended in a 1-0 Shots win as Lorent Tolaj scored a dramatic winner in the 98th minute in November 2023.
SINCE WE MET
With the Shots’ 1-0 win at The Shay in August being the second game of the season, the majority of the 24/25 campaign has happened since then!
Of the 19 Vanarama National League games since then, Halifax have won seven and lost five.
Both their cup runs ended at the first hurdle with a 4-2 defeat to Oldham Athletic in the Emirates FA Cup and a loss on penalties to Basford United in the FA Trophy.
