The Shots make one of their relatively smaller away trips this weekend with an 88-mile round trip from the EBB Stadium to the Silverlake Stadium to take on Eastleigh.
Known as the Spitfires, Eastleigh are in their 11th Vanarama National League season following promotion from what was then known as the Conference South back in 2014 and are currently 14th in the table.
Eastleigh have 38 points from their 29 games, picking up nine wins and nine losses. Last season’s Vanarama National League Top Scorer, Paul McCallum is the Spitfire’s top scorer once again so far this campaign with eight goals.
RECENT FORM
Eastleigh have played at the Silverlake Stadium just once in their last five games but fell to a 2-1 defeat to Altrincham as Tyrese Shade was sent off after just 24 minutes.
The Spitfires picked up only one win from their last five, picking up a 1-0 win over Solihull Moors at Damson Park, but have lost their last four games since then.
Eastleigh suffered another defeat to Altrincham in their last five games as Regan Linney’s 90th minute winner at the J.Davidson Stadium knocked them out of the Isuzu FA Trophy in the Fifth Round.
- 08/02/25 – Forest Green Rovers 2-1 Eastleigh
- 01/02/25 – Altrincham 1-0 Eastleigh
- 25/01/25 – Sutton United 1-0 Eastleigh

LAST TIME OUT
The Shots picked up three points at the EBB Stadium when Eastleigh visited back in October.
Ludwig Francilette headed the visitors in front just after half-time, but Jack Barham and Ryan Jones turned the game around for the Shots to claim a deserved win.
IN THE DUGOUT
In the home dugout this weekend is former Premier League goalkeeper Kelvin Davis who has been in charge of Eastleigh since February 2024.
Davis made over 600 career appearances between the sticks for the likes of Luton Town, Wimbledon, Ipswich Town and Sunderland.
His most notorious spell, though, was with Southampton where he made 271 appearances in a decade with the South Coast side. Upon retirement, he stayed at St. Marys in a number of roles, including First-Team Coach, before leaving in 2022.
FORMER SHOTS
