The Shots return to action in the National League Cup this evening as Brighton & Hove Albion U21s visit the EBB Stadium.
Brighton’s youngsters have won their last five games which has included two victories against some of Europe’s best sides as they beat Real Sociedad 1-0 and RB Leipzig 3-0. They also ran riot with a 10-0 win over rivals Crystal Palace’s under 21s a month ago.
Their last and first game in the National League Cup was 2-2 draw at Woking, however the young Seagulls picked up the extra point in a penalty shootout win.
The Shots picked up a 3-0 win over Derby County U21s in our first National League Cup game and, as a result, sit top of the Group A table that sees two sides progress to the knockout stages of the competition.
