Keane Anderson has joined Sholing on a month’s loan.
The midfielder made his Aldershot Town professional debut in Saturday’s 4-1 win over Lewes in the FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round.
Sholing currently sit 16th in the Southern League Premier South after being promoted last season.
Tommy Widdrington said: “Keane has impressed us all in training and when playing in the development group matches.”
“After making his First-Team debut last weekend, we feel that getting competitive matches and minutes under his belt is the right next step for him to give himself more of a chance of getting closer to First-Team minutes here.”
Two other young Shots have also recently received loan moves to ensure first-team football within the men’s game:
Ashley Akpan‘s successful loan with Hartley Wintney in step 4 recently ended but the right-back has now made the move up to step 3 as he joins Gosport Borough.
Gosport currently sit top of the Southern Premier League South and their fantastic start to the season means Akpan joins a side who will be challenging for promotion to the Vanarama National League South.
George Milner-Smith has joined Northwood FC, who currently sit 17th in the Isthmian League South Central Division (step 4).
