Lincoln City will hold an Act of Remembrance before kick-off in this Saturday’s National League fixture against Aldershot Town.
The match will be attended by representatives of the Royal British Legion, Army and Royal Air Force, plus Air, Sea and Army Cadets, with uniformed personnel collecting for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal before kick-off and during half-time. Military vehicles will park outside Sincil Bank as a static display, with a short ceremony starting on the pitch at approximately 2.45pm.
A guard of honour, comprising local children and uniformed military personnel, will welcome the teams onto the pitch, with a bugler playing the Last Post and sounding Reveille as part of a one-minute silence.
We thank all Aldershot Town supporters travelling to Sincil Bank for their respect and participation.
