Midfielder Liam Bellamy is continuing the rehabilitation from the knee injury suffered last November by training with a club closer to his East London home.
“It makes perfect sense, financially and geographically, and I really appreciate their help. They’ve been really good to me, in letting me train with them,” explains Bellamy, who had remained with The Shots through pre-season but now needs to step up his return to match fitness.
“Gary Waddock is helping me to find a Club where I can get gametime. I need to get playing and also get my confidence back, and the management at Aldershot Town want to keep tabs on me to see how things go.
“I have to keep my options open, but I love it at Aldershot Town. The fans and gaffer have been great to me.”
