Aldershot Town have signed midfielder Kieron Forbes on loan from Forest Green Rovers until the end of January 2015.
The 23 year-old playmaker has made 107 Conference Premier appearances in four seasons at The New Lawn, and earned four caps for the England C Team which saw him named England C Player of the Year 2012-13.
Forbes began his career with the renowned Watford youth academy and made one appearance for the Hornets, in a League Cup tie in 2007. He enjoyed another taste of Cup football with Wealdstone, who he had joined in 2008, when The Stones earned a second round FA Cup tie against Rotherham United in 2009.
Former Watford Academy coach Dave Hockaday signed Kieron for Forest Green Rovers in December 2010, and was rewarded for his good form with a new three-year contract in June 2012. Forbes was loaned to Conference South side Whitehawk in February 2014 but recalled by Rovers boss Ady Pennock in April.
Forbes goes into Andy Scott’s squad to face Chelsea Under 21 tonight.
