Keeper joins on loan

Aldershot Town have signed goalkeeper George Legg on a one-month loan deal from Championship side Reading, with an option to extend the deal.

The 22-year old stopper has yet to make an appearance for the Royals’ first team but has made over 100 senior appearances in several loan spells.

He’s spent time on loan at Oxford United, Holyport, Hendon, Dunstable Town, Chesham United, Hampton & Richmond Borough, Gosport Borough, Hungerford Town and most recently with Barnet in League Two last season where he made three EFL appearances.

He goes straight into tomorrow’s squad against Bromley, meanwhile fellow keeper Zaki Oualah has joined Leatherhead and Will Mannion continues his recovery from injury at parent club Hull City.
