Jake Gallagher received two awards prior to kick-off on Saturday as his recent form was again recognised.
Gallagher was first given the Club’s Player of the Month award for December, after several hugely impressive performances in midfield, before Maj Billy Thomson of the Army FA presented him with his England C cap on behalf of the Football Association.
Jake has won five caps since making his debut in February 2014 and was also called up to Paul Fairclough’s training camp in September 2015.
Assisting Maj Thomson in the presentation was Elannah Osgood, Aldershot Town’s first ever Chairman for the Day. The Player of the Month award was presented by Junior Shots member Jack Gear.
