Join Us For International Women’s Day As Shots Host Imps!

Aldershot Town celebrate International Women’s Day tomorrow as The Shots host National League leaders and FA Cup quarter-finalists Lincoln City at the EBB Stadium.

All female fans are admitted at half-price, with adults costing £10 and £8 for seating and terrace respectively. Concessions are charged £7 and £6, with girls aged 11 to 16 priced £3 and £2. As usual, all boys and girls under 11 are admitted FREE with a paying adult.

The Club is also being ‘taken over’ for the day by four young ladies assuming the roles of Chairwoman, Press Officer, Groundswoman and PA Announcer.

A five-a-side tournament for girls aged 8 – 10 is being held at Weydon School from 10.30am – 12.30pm, with the final played at the EBB Stadium at half-time. Lincoln City themselves are amongst the 10 entrants, with teams also representing Aldershot’s Wellington Primary School, Fleet Spurs, Woking Cougars, Milford Pumas, Hindhead’s Amesbury School, Burnham Juniors from Slough and Reigate’s South Park FC.

Participants will all attend the Shots v Imps, which kicks off at 3pm, and form a guard of honour for the two teams. The Lincoln City girls tea will escort the visitors onto the pitch, whilst the team finishing in third place will escort The Shots.
