Aldershot Town were amongst many other local businesses at yesterday’s Hampshire Business Expo held over at the Farnborough Exhibition Centre.
The Shots, who were one of the sponsors of the event, had their own stall out at the expo and the Marketing and Commercial teams were visited by the Phoenix in the morning and players Jake Gallagher, Adam McDonnell, Gerry McDonagh, Rollin Menayese and Regan Booty in the afternoon.
As well as promoting the football club to other local businesses we were also there promoting our Academy and the Shots Foundation.
We were delighted to network with so many forward-thinking businesses, including some of our own sponsors, who have such a clear vision for the future of our local community.
Our thanks go to Eagle Radio, Connect Surrey, CMPP, Farnborough Business Park and Farnborough International for helping to host the event and also to our own partners Akiko Designs and Reade Signs who helped provide us with banners for the event.
Shots chairman Shahid Azeem was also in attendance and had this to say: “We were thrilled to be a part of the group in getting this going along with our local partners.
“We were also pleased to help champion in the organization of the event and to be a part in of something that helps bring footfall into our local community not only on the day but for the future, too.
“To have a presence at these events is vital in promoting ourselves to the community and we were delighted to be a part of it.”
