Two more Shots have received international recognition with senior international call ups!
This comes after Ollie Harfield played 90 minutes for England C on Tuesday night, as the Non-League Lions lost 1-0 to Wales C.
Haji Mnoga has been called up by Tanzania to represent the Taifa Stars as they take on Bulgaria and Mongolia in the FIFA Series – a set of international friendlies between lower-ranked countries of different confederations.
Both games will take place in Azerbaijan with Tanzania playing Bulgaria at 1pm tomorrow (Friday 22nd March) and Mongolia at 1pm on Monday, 25th March.
Kwame Thomas has received his first call up to St Kitts & Nevis and will link up with the Sugar Boyz ahead of their second game against San Marino on Sunday, 24th March (7:45pm KO).
St Kitts & Nevis beat San Marino 3-1 last night, with former Shot Harrison Panayiotou getting on the scoresheet.
Everyone at the club is delighted for Kwame receiving his first international call up and continues to be proud of Haji’s representation of Tanzania – good luck, lads!
