From around the ground: The Shots v Salford

This weekend we hosted Salford at home, and while the result was not what we wanted, everyone at the club would like to thank the fans for their support.

For our game, we had two sets of guests at the ground who would like to pass on their thanks to all the fans as well.

We were joined by Farncombe Youth FC U12’s team and their coach, Martin Wells. The team were on the pitch at half time taking penalties into both the Community Stand and Eastbank ends.  The team all had a brilliant time and the support from the Eastbank (for some outstanding penalties) was phenomenal.

You may also have seen some Army personnel around the ground with buckets on Saturday. We were delighted to show our continued support to the armed forces as we hosted ABF – The Soldiers Charity as they collected funds to support soldiers from around the country and their families. Their bucket collecting took over £800 on the day and everyone involved can be proud of their efforts.

Once again, the club would like to thank everyone who was at the game at the weekend and showed the community spirit that makes this club so special.
