FA Cup 1st Round: Shots v Bradford City

Aldershot Town will host League One Bradford City in the first round of the Emirates FA Cup over the weekend of Friday 6, Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November.

Phil Parkinson’s Bantams, currently 14th in League One, were FA Cup quarter-finalists last season, in a run which included victories against Millwall, Chelsea and Sunderland before they lost in a replay to Reading.

The Shots have met The Bantams ten times in League fixtures, the last in 2012-13 when Bradford won 2-0 at the EBB Stadium before an injury-time penalty earned them a 1-1 draw at Valley Parade.

The Shots have met City ten times in League matches, winning five and drawing once. This will be the first FA Cup tie between the two clubs.

Shots defender Luke Oliver made 119 appearances for Bradford City between 2010 and 2014, and was named the Club’s Player of the Year for 2011-12.

We will announce full details of the tie as soon as they are confirmed.
