Aldershot Town will host Bedford Town in the 1st Round of the Buildbase FA Trophy. The tie will take place on Saturday 15th December at the EBB Stadium with a 3PM Kick Off.
The Shots have never made it past the semi-final stage and last did that in 2007/08 when Gary Waddock’s title-winning side were knocked out by eventual winners Ebbsfleet United. Bedford’s best FA Trophy run also runs as far as the semi-finals back in the 1974/75 season.
The Eagles have beaten Cheshunt, Tilbury, Kingstonian, Chipstead and Worthing so far in the competition and their squad includes ex-Shot Dan Walker. They play in the Evo-Stik South Division One Central and currently sit in 8th position just a point outside the play-off places.
