We’re delighted to announce that Tyler Cordner has extended his contract with Aldershot Town.
The centre-back will now be gracing the EBB Stadium until the summer of 2025 having agreed to a one-year extension.
Cordner has played in all but one of Aldershot’s Vanarama National League Games this season, picking up 33 appearances in all competitions and has even chipped in with five goals.
Cordner said: “I’ve really enjoyed the start of my Aldershot career so far so I’m really happy to be extending my stay here.”
“Playing for Aldershot has brought back my happiness both on and off the pitch after having some tough moments early in my career.”
“The fans have been incredible and I really want to thank them for their support. I’ve only been here for just over half a season but Aldershot already feels like home.”
“I want this club to succeed and will give my all to make sure that the Club is in a better place to when I first arrived!”
First-Team Manager Ross McNeilly was delighted to see one of his key payers commit his future to the club, saying: “It’s great to see one of our key players showing he wants to play his football here.”
“This shows our intent that we want to keep our best players and we’re delighted to keep working with Tyler, who’ll play a big part for the Club moving forward.”
