The Club would like to pass on it’s best wishes to Club Secretary Matt Wigman who will be moving on to a Championship club in the near future!
Matt joined Aldershot Town in 2018 as a Ticket and Merchandise Officer, before stepping up to the role of Club Secretary at the end of the 21/22 season.
Everyone at the club is delighted for Matt to receive recognition for all of his hard work and commitment to the club over the last six years and he leaves with everyone’s thanks and best wishes!
Club Chairman Shahid Azeem said: “Whilst we’ll all be sad to see Matt leave the club, we’re all really happy for him to have earned a brilliant opportunity!”
“Matt will be the second young and upcoming talent we’ve seen move to the Championship recently and it’s a great sign of the good work going on both on and off the pitch at the club.”
Matt’s imminent departure means the club is actively looking for a new Club Secretary; more information will be provided in the near future.
