Thank you to everybody who attended the Community Cup at the EBB Stadium on Sunday and congratulations to our 2019 winners East Bank FC.
It was a tightly-contested tournament throughout with the unbeaten East Bank FC winning by a point ahead of Crimea FC and reigning champions Duke of York, with fourth-placed side Akiko two points off the top despite not losing a game nor conceding a goal!
But it was the East Bank who ran out deserved winners, not losing a single game and conceding just one goal in the process in a solid display throughout on the hallowed turf.
We’d like to thank East Bank FC, Crimea FC, Duke of York, Akiko, If’s and Buts FC, ATFC Youth Department and Geri Hat Trick Shots for their participation in the tournament in the glorious spring sunshine at the EBB Stadium, and also like to thank all their fans, family and friends for coming down to cheer the teams on. An enjoyable day was had by all!
