CLUB STATEMENT: Shots TV LIVE

Aldershot Town are delighted to announce that we will continue to work with Live Event Production Company Zest4.TV until the end of the year, with the view of furthering their support by filming the live match using traditional cameras.

Zest4.TV have already worked with us with the in-studio production against Sutton United, which many supporters enjoyed and will continue to work with us on this, along with the extension of additional cameras closer to the pitchside and will also be supporting us in filming the live home fixture as well.

Alongside this, Aldershot Town will continue to work internally with Pixellot to ensure the production quality desired by both the club and Pixellot is soon achieved by continued improvements being made.

This is with a view to supporting both the club’s analysis requirements and the club’s desire for Pixellot’s technology to be part of our matchday production for fans again in the future.

Managing Director of Zest4.TV, Simon Coe spoke to us following our partnership with them for Shots TV Live and offers a bit more of a background into their business with fans able to visit their website here:

“Zest4.TV is an outside broadcast and live event filming business. For over 15 years we have filmed broadcast sport, corporate events, festivals and bespoke live streamed experiences.

We supplied live pitch-side camera services to Spurs TV for 4 years, our MD has been a camera operator on The Open Golf for 8 years and we have covered other major football and sporting events for CTV, DAZN, IMG and BT Sport. Our corporate end clients include major names: Adobe, Microsoft, McLaren and BP; and our festival catalogue includes coverage of Leeds Festival, Parklife, V Festival and many others.

We are an experienced team of professionals, always looking to provide the highest quality multi-camera broadcast experience throughout our expert camerawork, vision and audio engineering, communications and multi-site links.

In 2020, with the restrictions from COVID-19, we have transformed the business to be a major supplier of remote production facilities. We now have 3 control galleries at our base in Sunbury that can bring in remote contributors using their own personal equipment or from studios / remote broadcast locations.

These are open 24/7 365 days of the year to host multi-national productions at small or large scale.

Zest4.TV has a staff of 10 with a large pool of experienced and creative freelancers that bring hundreds of years’ of high quality broadcast experience between them. We are dedicated to achieving the best results for all clients and are delighted to be supported Aldershot Town FC with our broadcast facilities during these difficult and unprecedented times.”

We look forward to working in partnership with Zest4.TV for the remainder of our home games this year as we look to offer supporters an improved Shots TV Live by next week’s FA Cup game against Woking, with the embargo on this game being lifted, due to it being a Fourth Qualifying Round and not the First Round proper.

This decision also is dependant on whether the fixture is selected for BBC TV coverage or not, which if decided, we will also announce details in due course.

Season Tickets holders who opted to see their Season Tickets run through to the streaming services we will be providing until fans are allowed back in, we thank you for your support and will be contacted separately regarding this game but should use the same streaming code issued prior to our Sutton fixture.

Very soon, fans will be able to purchase next week’s FA Cup game against HERE and for more information on how to sign up, click HERE.
