Aldershot Town Football Club has been deeply saddened by the passing of David Pugh, aged 80.
A stalwart of both Aldershot FC and Aldershot Town FC David served in a variety of voluntary roles including Match Day Manager, Reserve and Youth Team Secretary. Widely respected within the football fraternity David also spent many years as an Officer of the Suburban Football League.
The Pugh Family have a long standing Aldershot association and have made a huge contribution behind the scenes over many decades.
We offer our deepest condolences to David’s wife Carol, daughters Lisa and Sara, sons Mark and Andrew and all the Pugh family at this extremely difficult time.
We remain ever grateful to David for the many years of devoted service he gave our football club. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
