We’re delighted to confirm that a club option in Lorent Tolaj’s contract has been triggered, ensuring the deal will run until the end of next season.
An club-controlled option in the Swiss striker’s contract ensured his deal would be extended until the summer of 2025 if he started 25 games.
Tolaj has started 35 times for The Shots this season and scored his 20th goal of the season in all competitions in today’s win over FC Halifax Town.
The Aldershot number nine has said his time with The Shots has been the happiest of his career so far, saying: “I’m happy to stay, I feel like I’m not finished with Aldershot just yet.”
“I’m happy here and really enjoying my football. I’m looking forward to finishing the season strong and to score as many goals as I can to help the team.”
