Chelsea and Shots Raise Over £5200 For Nepal

Thursday’s Chelsea v Liverpool Under 21 fixture at the ESS raised over £5200 for the Nepal earthquake relief fund.

Our thanks go to Chelsea FC, for their very kind gesture, and to all supporters who made such generous donations. All money raised will go directly towards a project to be adopted by the Club which will bring the greatest benefit to Nepalese people.

The 7.8 magnitude earthquake, on Saturday 25 April, has so far claimed over 8000 lives, injured almost 19000 and destroyed many towns and villages in central Nepal between the cities of Kathmandu and Pokhara.

The Club will soon be publishing details of a new fundraising page through which further donations can be made to the project co-ordinated in conjunction with Sahara UK and the Buddhist Community Centre UK.
