Chelsea’s Under 23 side welcome Manchester United to the EBB Stadium tonight in a mouthwatering Premier League 2 clash.

Chelsea this week also announced that they will continue to play matches at the EBB Stadium until the summer of 2018.

The Blues’ six-game unbeaten run has moved them up to fourth in the Premier League 2 table, with a home win against Southampton (which saw John Terry, Cesc Fabregas and Michy Batshuayi all start for Chelsea) and a draw at Manchester City both earned with late goals for Adi Viveash’s team.

Most recently, Chelsea began their Premier League International Cup campaign with a come-from-behind victory against Feyenoord at the EBB Stadium.

Manchester United’s Under 23 side, managed by legendary midfielder Nicky Butt, has recently featured two players with first-team experience, Regan Poole and Joe Riley, plus Lybian international Sadiq El Fitouri, rated as the players most likely to follow the likes of Marcus Rashford and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson into Jose Mourinho’s senior squad.

That is followed by an FA Youth Cup tie against Cardiff City, on Tuesday 13 December, as Chelsea look to win the competition for the fourth year in succession, and their second Premier League International Cup fixture, against Dinamo Zagreb.
