We can confirm our latest pre-season friendly, as the Shots travel to Essex to face Chelmsford City on Saturday 27th July (3PM Kick Off) at the Melbourne Stadium.
The Clarets finished 4th in the National League South last season, losing in the Play-Offs to Welling United and Rod Stringer’s men will provide a stern test for Danny Searle’s newly-assembled squad.

The Shots last played Chelmsford back in 2006 when we won 2-0 in an FA Cup 1st Round Replay at the EBB Stadium with Darren Barnard and John Grant scoring on the evening after the two sides drew the first tie 1-1 at Chelmsford.
