Aldershot Town have signed Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Charlie Harris on a 28-day youth loan.
The 19 year-old creative, attacking player is a graduate of the Seagulls’ Academy and a regular in the Albion Under 21 side. He was named as a substitute for one first-team fixture last season and scored for the Seagulls’ during pre-season.
Barry Smith said: “We have watched Charlie on a couple of occasions and like what we have seen. We are low on numbers due to a couple of injuries and Charlie will provide competition in midfield – he hasn’t come in just to sit on the bench.”
Charlie will wear shirt number 21 and is available for selection to face Eastleigh on Saturday.
