Cash For Shots Relaunched

Aldershot Town relaunches its Cash For Shots Fund this Thursday night at the season’s first Fans Forum, held in the EBB Lounge from 7pm.

An exclusive membership scheme that helps support The Shots’ PlayerShare Fund – and goes directly towards Barry Smith’s playing budget – Cash For Shots costs just £1 per week and offers a weekly cash prize of £100. The latest payment from the Fund has contributed towards the signing of midfielder Jake Gallagher from Welling United.

Payment can be quarterly (£13), half-yearly (£26) or annually (£52), by standing order, cheque, cash or online transfer. Supporters wishing to set up a Standing Order can do so by paying the Cash For Shots account at sort code 20-61-82 and account number 30106895.

Both Cash For Shots and the PlayerShare Fund were established in 2007. Since then, PlayerShare has contributed to the signings of Jonny Dixon, Tristan Plummer, Jamie Young, Dean Morgan, Jermaine McGlashan, Aaron Morris, Dan Fitchett and Jake Gallagher, among many others.

The PlayerShare Fund was set up by supporters Ian Dawkins, Keith Able and Nick Fryer. The Fund will be continuing to support the Club this season, with forthcoming events, Golden Goal tickets and quiz nights as well as Cash For Shots entries.

If you would like to donate to the Players Fund please contact Nick Fryer via nickfryer@icloud.com. For further information on Cash For Shots, please call Keith Able on 01252 659584 or email cashforshots@hotmail.co.uk.
