Aldershot Town are delighted to announce that Bridges Estate Agents have extended their sponsorship of the Club into a third year.
A family-run business established in Ash Vale in 1991, and now also boasting branches in Aldershot, Camberley, Farnborough, Farnham and Fleet, Bridges are the market leaders in North East Hampshire and West Surrey in property sales, letting and management, and provision of conveyancing services.
Their name will now appear on The Shots’ famous red and blue shirts until the summer of 2016, and Bridges Chairman, Tony Raffermati, said: “We are delighted to offer our support to Aldershot Town for the 2015-2016 season. We have watched the Club progress so much since we committed our support in 2012.
“Having stayed up that season, despite the 10 point deduction, it is clear that the Club has become much stronger, highlighted by the brilliant victory over Portsmouth in the FA Cup and the brave draw against Rochdale – a game we could have won.
“For our part, ever since we received such an amazing response from the fans on the East Bank, the day our sponsorship was announced, we have tried our best to keep the Club in everyone’s mind, via our posters and local property paper. Both Carlo and I will remember that day forever, when Woking were the visitors. Having our families there as well was a very proud moment for both of us.
“I personally take massive pride watching my local team displaying my company logo, as I have been coming to the ground since the 1970s, and it has been one of my career highlights to have been able to help the Club I have supported for so long.
“Shahid’s non-stop work ethic, when it comes to the community, events and his restless energy driving the club forward through his many connections, formed a very big part of our decision to stay on board, and I’d like to thank him again for the opportunity.”
