Aldershot Town are delighted to confirm that David Blackmore has joined the club as Goalkeeper Coach from Braintree Town.
A graduate from West Ham United’s Academy, Blackmore has also represented Lewes, Thurrock, Charlton Athletic, Crystal Palace, Woking, Margate, Braintree Town and Godalming Town as a player.
He was the Iron’s goalkeeper coach for the duration of last season’s National League campaign and was also at the club when they won promotion from the National League South in 2017/18 under Brad Quinton.
Blackmore was unveiled at this evening’s ‘Meet the Manager’ evening for fans and sponsors in the EBB Lounge.
