We’re pleased to announce the final number of names on our #BackToTheShirt home kit as well as further distribution details ahead of the upcoming 2022/23 season!
Back in January we released the details of the one-off kit, which will feature the names of supporters included past and present who have been added by you all. The top, together with white shorts and red socks, will become our official home strip for the new season in 2022/23.
Following this promotion which finished on the 6th March, we are delighted to share with our supporters that we have had 798 names included in our #BackToTheShirt home strip for next season and we cannot thank you all enough for your support in this too.
As a result, this has seen just short of £40,000 gross raised from the name in the shirt only, with an additional over 500 #BackToTheShirt strips pre-ordered for next season too.
We will also be including all the Aldershot Town FC Centurions (54) within the names on the #BackToTheShirt shirt. So, overall 852 names will be threaded into the new shirt for next season and we again would like to thank all those who have contributed by purchasing their name, purchasing a new #BackToTheShirt or both ahead of next season’s campaign.
Postage purchases
Sales of the new #BackToTheShirt kit have been unprecedented and we will begin to dispatch it to purchasers as soon as the shirts arrive.
Whilst we look to manage this distribution as effectively as we can, please allow up to a couple of weeks for this process to be completed in full and we thank you all for your patience on this in advance.
Collections purchases
As we look to get started on the collections process once the #BackToTheShirt kits have arrived at the ground, (which we anticipate to be towards the start of June), we will inform those who bought the shirt to come to the stadium to collect when their shirts are with us in the office.
We will be open for collections between Monday and Friday in our usual times of 9:30am to 5pm, however this is subject to change closer to the time and we will announce any changes with this on our social media platforms too.
