Club Statement: Away Fixture vs Woking – Ticketing Update
Aldershot Town Football Club would like to provide an update regarding our upcoming away derby fixture against Woking, and to address the ticketing issues experienced by our supporters.
The club hierarchy, alongside the Head of the Supporters Club, has been in communication with Woking Football Club to gain a full understanding of the situation surrounding the removal of tickets from sale. This decision was not communicated to Aldershot Town in advance and therefore came as a surprise.
We can now confirm that the decision was made by Woking Football Club on the grounds of health and safety considerations for both sets of supporters.
The club has worked hard to explore all possible avenues to reach a fair and positive resolution for our fans. Unfortunately, despite these efforts and ongoing dialogue between both clubs, it has not been possible to come to an agreement. As a result, there will be no further tickets allocated to Aldershot Town supporters for this fixture.
We fully understand the disappointment and frustration this will cause. Please be assured that the club has gone to great lengths to try and resolve the situation in the best interests of our supporters.
Whether you are attending the match or supporting from afar, your backing does not go unnoticed. The level of demand for this away fixture is a testament to your passion and loyalty, and it makes everyone at the club incredibly proud.
We can confirm we are exploring options to show the fixture at The EBB Stadium for those who are unable to attend the fixture in person due to these ticketing issues.
