Everyone at the Club was saddened to learn of the passing of former Aldershot FC player Tony Priscott.
Tony was a winger who made 302 appearances for the Shots and scored 76 goals over two spells after making his debut against Darlington in August 1962, after joining from Portsmouth.
He joined Bournemouth in 1966 but would move back to Aldershot in 1967. He spent four more years with the Shots until he joined Poole Town in 1971, before finishing his career at Ringwood Town.
Tony was also involved in a 3-1 League Cup Second Round defeat to Manchester United in September, 1970. Dennis Law, Brian Kidd and George Best were goalscorers for United that day with Nobby Stiles and Bobby Charlton also featuring.
Our thoughts are with Tony’s family at this difficult time and we thank him for his incredible contributions to Aldershot.
