Aldershot Town’s Summer Party returns to the Princes Hall on Friday 4 May as the hottest ticket in town for a great night of comedy, music, magic and fantastic food.
Enjoy a delicious three-course dinner followed by Canadian comedian Tanyalee Davis and street magician Stephen Simmons, with one of the area’s best party bands, Fuzz Universe, helping you dance the night away until the early hours.
Arriving at 7pm for a drinks reception, the evening features Tanyalee Davis, a comedian who packs a hefty punch despite standing just 3ft 6 tall! Star of BBC1s Live at the Apollo and The John Bishop Show, along with an appearance on Channel 4’s The Last Leg, Davis describes herself as “the Ferrari of comedy – low to the ground and kind of racy”. A veteran of comedy festivals around the world, from Las Vegas to Melbourne and the legendary Edinburgh Fringe, Davis is a little lady who will bring BIG laughs!
Amazing close-up magician Stephen Simmons returns to astound with his sleight-of-hand and mind-reading skills. One mystified customer has declared “I believe in magic because of you”, whilst another enthused: “He blew everyone’s minds! Many people were left speechless with a bewildered grin”. Five-piece band Fuzz Universe bring the evening to a close with a brilliant set of covers drawing on the last 60 years, from Chuck Berry to Bruno Mars, via Stevie Wonder, Queen, The Killers and many more.
Dress code is black tie and glamorous, with the evening also featuring an auction and raffle, with lots of great prizes.
