Shots Support Eagle Easter Egg Appeal

Saturday’s home game against Torquay United has been designated an official drop-off point for the annual Eagle Radio Easter Egg Appeal.

Supporters are invited to buy an extra Easter egg and bring it to either the Programme Shop behind the North Stand or the Phoenix Lounge underneath the South Stand.

The Appeal helps thousands of less fortunate children across Surrey and Hampshire have a happier Easter, and benefits more than 50 charities and organisations. Last year, the Appeal collected 4260 eggs, all of which were donated to children who are living in a refuge or homeless shelter, seriously or terminally ill, or living in poverty.

Amongst the beneficiaries are Aldershot Women’s Refuge at Foster Lodge; Disability Challengers, based in Farnham and Guildford, who have Community Stand tickets for the game; Aldershot’s Step By Step homeless charity, and Frimley Park Hospital. A full list can be found here.
