Aldershot Town will travel to newly-promoted FC Halifax Town on the opening day of the 2017-18 Vanarama National League season, on Saturday 5 August.
Billy Heath’s Shaymen beat Chorley in the National League North Play-Off Final last season. The Shots won 2-0 in their last visit to The Shay, in April 2016.
The first home match follows three days later, on Tuesday 8 August, as Torquay United visit the EBB Stadium, with Guiseley AFC the visitors on Saturday 12 August.
The Shots again face a Christmas and New Year derby double-header against local rivals Woking, with the home match scheduled for Tuesday 26 December, before the return fixture at Kingfield on Monday 1 January. In between, The Shots host Maidstone United on Saturday 30 December as part of a run of four games in eight days which also sees us travel to Guiseley AFC on Saturday 23 December.
The Shots host Chester on Saturday 26 August, two days before a Bank Holiday Monday trip to Hampshire rivals Eastleigh. Easter 2018 also brings two matches, on Friday 30 March at Solihull Moors and, on Easter Monday, versus Eastleigh, before the season closes with a fixture at Sutton United.
