Two of Aldershot Town’s most successful and enjoyable events return in 2016 – and we want you to be a part of the fun!
Our annual Golf Day is at the beautiful Puttenham Golf Club on Thursday 21 April, including 18 holes around one of the best courses in the south of England, followed by a delicious three-course dinner. After bacon rolls on arrival at 12pm and tee-off at 1pm, the day concludes with a raffle and auction of great sporting memorabilia. Sponsored by EBB Paper, several members of Barry Smith’s squad will be taking part. Teams of four cost £320 + VAT.
Then, on Saturday 4 June, our Summer Party kick-starts the swinging social season with a night of live music, comedy and good food at the Princes Hall. This black tie event starts at 7pm and, with dancing until late, is the perfect way to enjoy a long summer evening in style. Arriving for a drinks reception, you will then sit down to a superb three-course dinner, followed by one of the best comedians and after-dinner speakers on the circuit, Ian Irving (see for yourself with this video clip) and live music from explosive four-piece band The Cobbles, bringing the best disco, pop, funk, rock and soul hits from as far back as the 50s! Tickets are £66 each.
