The Football

Competing in several leagues including the Ryman Youth League, Conference Youth Alliance and the KGS Development League. Also included into the fixture programme is various cup competitions which include the Hampshire U18 Midweek Floodlit Cup, and the precious FA Youth Cup. Alongside the matches, the Academy Manager with his coaches will provide and run a training programme alongside the college hours enabling the players the best chance to develop their footballing abilities.

The College

Studying on site with a full time employed Tutor, the boys within the course will work towards completing their BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport. The full course is run over 2 years, with the team studying 7 Units within the first year and a further 6 in the second year. On completion of each year they will receive certificates with their grade for each unit; either a Pass, Merit or Distinction. Also, if failing their English and Maths at GCSE Level, they have the opportunity with us to re sit these subjects through Functional Skills exams, where they will first do Level 1, followed by Level 2 the following year. In past years we have included added qualifications, such as Customer Services and Personal Trainer qualifications.

London Academy

London is a very large catchment area of players who want to pursue their football career. We understand that to travel large distances to Aldershot every day to play football may be hard, but we also don’t want you to miss out on the chance to possibly represent Aldershot in the future. We have a satellite centre set up in Charlton, running out of the Meridian Sports Centre. Running the same college programme as above, and also competing in the Conference Youth Alliance its another great opportunity to develop both Academically off the pitch and Physically on the pitch. For more information on upcoming trial dates please visit: or for more information on the course itself please email:
