Shots chairman Shahid Azeem was delighted to welcome both Simon and Chris to the board and had this to say: “I’m delighted to welcome Simon and Chris to the club.

“GlucoRx have made a great contribution to the football club, sponsoring the East Bank and club’s Youth Department and are listed as one of the best ethical companies in the UK.

“We’re very pleased and Chris will bring a wealth of experience in certain areas for us on the board and we look forward to continuing our relationship with GlucoRx.

“Simon is a lawyer and is representing a friend of mine who lives overseas and is purchasing shares in the football club as mentioned in the Fans Forum back in November and it is vital for that shareholder to be represented on the board.

“He runs his own consultancy firm and it’s great to have a lawyer with Simon’s experience on board and will be of huge benefit to the football club on many fronts including saving on legal matters, governance and compliance.”

Simon and Chris both live locally and will contribute in many areas as we move forward.
