The 31 year-old spent his youth career in both League One side Charlton Athletic’s and local rivals Woking FC’s youth systems, before successful spells within non-league that saw the forward earn moves into the EFL with the likes of Luton Town, Peterborough United, Mansfield Town and most recently Port Vale. But it is in the National League systems where Miller played his best football, scoring 28 goals in 46 games for National League North side Boston United in 2013-14, before going onto to score 22 goals in 54 games in the National League with Dover Athletic in 2015-16. However it was the season after in 2016-17 that saw Miller’s best return of goals in professional football, scoring 45 goals in 46 games for Dover as they narrowly missed out on a play-off position, with the forward finishing the season as top scorer in the National League, 15 goals clear of second-placed Christian Doidge. He joins Aldershot Town with the hope to continue this kind of goal-scoring form to see the Shots push higher up in the table.
