At Aldershot Town Academy, based at the Alderwood School and Weydon School, we strive to develop players in a professional, safe and inclusive environment.
The academy’s ethos is to place the wellbeing of the individual and their football journey above all else, where players are encouraged to experiment, make mistakes and express themselves.
We place a young players personal development alongside their football development and demand that our young players learn to respect each other to ensure they can maximise their potential, on and off the pitch.
Our under-9s up to the under-16’s combine training twice a week with a weekly games programme against other clubs.
Players in our under-19 team compete in the Conference Youth Alliance League, Bostik Youth League, Suburban League and the FA Youth Cup.
At the Aldershot Town FC Academy we have a two-tiered Player Progression Pathway which allows players to develop at their own speed and progress to the next level if and when they are ready.
The process begins at our Development Centre in Aldershot at Alderwood School. The top tier of the Player Progression Pathway is the Academy itself.
Please visit the Academy Trials page to find out how you can become a part of the Player Progression Pathway.
