Transform a life in 2 minutes!

In just two minutes, Aldershot Town fans can help to transform the lives of local young people.

The Source Young People’s Charity, based virtually opposite the Electrical Services Stadium on the High Street, has been nominated for the Lloyds Bank Community Fund, which could see them awarded as much as £3000.

With Age UK Surrey, Weylife Project and the 2nd Aldershot Scout Group also nominated in the region, the charity receiving the most votes will receive £3000. Second place receives £2000, with £1000 for third and £500 for fourth.

Votes can be submitted either online, via Twitter, by SMS by texting VOTE BCX to 6119, or at Lloyds Bank branches in Aldershot, Farnborough and Farnham. Simply click on the link above and follow the instructions.

The Source is one of 1400 groups, in 350 communities across England, Wales, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and Channel Islands, shortlisted for the Lloyds Bank Community Fund.

The Source meets the needs of hundreds of young people, aged between 11 and 25, across Rushmoor each year. Through their café, teen parent and mentoring programmes, anger management counselling, after-school club and detached youth work, The Source are committed to seeing young people transformed, and to operating as a centre of excellence.

The Source has been chosen as the beneficiary of the first year of The Shots Community Partnership, launched by ten sponsors of Aldershot Town FC to organise a series of fundraising events as well as domate skills, resources and equipment.
