Shots Squad Special Guests At Summer School

Barry Smith and his first-team squad helped lucky children round off their summer holidays on a high on Thursday, at the final day of activities at the Aldershot Town’s Football in the Community Trust coaching school.

With over 3000 children taking part in the Trust’s programme, including Soccer at Six, Holiday Courses, NCS residential courses and Family Fun Days, it has been a summer to savour.

Juniors who attended this week’s final course at Bourley Road were delighted to meet Barry and many of his new squad, and ask many taxing questions. With three goals in two starts, Richard Brodie was especially popular with children wanting selfies and autographs!

The FITC Trust thank all players and management staff for their time and, of course, give a huge thanks to everybody who has supported the Community Trist activities throughout the summer.

Many opportunities to join the FITC’s exciting courses and coaching sessions continue throughout the year across the region – for full details, click here.
